This week's photo was taken at the park in Orange County. We went for Julian Moran's 2nd Birthday! The park was great with a duck pond and cool slides for kids.

A Photo a Week in 2015 - #14

This week's photos were taken in Maui. When we first we left for Maui, Alexandra was not happy and kept saying "home." We started telling her that we were going to our "Maui Home" for the week. During the visit she started to say, "Maui home." Last night, when I was putting her to bed, she said "Home." I acknowledge that we were indeed home to which she replied, "Maui fun."

This week's photo is from Maui - Alexandra has loved all the pool time and thought getting her feet wet in the ocean was something she would like to do more of. She says both Maui and Hawaii, but has not yet picked up Aloha (despite efforts from all of us to teach her)!

A Photo a Week in 2015 - #12

Last Sunday we visited the Easter Bunny (at Sam's Club). Alexandra was not at all interested in sitting on his lap. We went into the store and shopped. On the way out, there were no other people in line and she pointed at the bunny. So we let her walk over to him and for the next 15 minutes she ran around and had a great time giving him plastic eggs and her stuffed bunny. She even cried when it was time to leave because someone else finally got in line to take a picture.

A Photo a Week in 2015 - #11

This week, Alexandra celebrated her 2nd birthday (which I will eventually discuss in a separate entry) and it was also St. Patrick's Day. I am sharing two photos because I notice a major difference between the two, even though they were taken just three days apart! Her personality really shines through in the first photo, and she looks so much more grown up in the 2nd photo!

 

A Photo a Week in 2015 - #10

Alexandra has had bronchitis this week so I did not take many pictures. She has been laying low and trying to feel better. Today we took a walk to Grandma Janet's house to water the plants and on the way home I let her go on the slide a couple of times. Here she is obviously feeling much better!
