A Photo a Week in 2016 - #12

On Saturday, Sycamore Creek held an Easter Egg Hunt. At first, Miss Andra was not interested in the Easter Bunny. She was mostly interested in throwing eggs. Since there was almost an hour until her scheduled egg hunt, we decided to go to the park for awhile. When we came back, she was friendlier to the bunny, dancing and giving him high fives. The Easter Egg Hunt yielded 5 eggs and 2 rubber ducks. She had fun! We will be holding one at my mom's house on Easter which will be just for her and I think she will enjoy it even more because of what we are putting in the eggs! Finally, on the third trip past the Easter Bunny, she decided to interact more. She gestured in sync with the bunny and finally gave him a couple of hugs. We are making progress!

This week's photo was from our vacation to Santa Barbara. We took the train and had a great time! It was not only Andra's first Amtrak train ride, but possibly mine too! What a relaxing way to travel!

A Photo a Week in 2016 - #3

Alexandra was sick this week and she kindly shared it with the rest of the family! She is feeling better now, but it has been a week of cuddling, watching Paw Patrol and relaxing. On the right you see her silly face right before bed and on the left just a sweet photo that I took of her last night.

This week's photos include a princess and a cheerleader! Alexandra got the princess dress from Santa and is excited to wear it. When we were in Seattle over Thanksgiving Break, we picked up the Seahawks jersey. She looked so cute in it and Aunt Ann promises soon she will have some Denver Bronco wear as well.

A Photo a Week in 2016 - #1

This week's photos were taken at the Westin Mission Hills in Palm Springs where we spent a few days right at New Years. I love Miss Alexandra's pose and smile on the left. The jacket she is wearing is red and white with pandas, which is perfect since those are my sorority's (Alpha Omicron Pi) colors and mascot. Since our Founder's Day was January 2nd and Alexandra is a Legacy, these pictures are perfect!

This week's first photo shows Miss Alexandra riding her brand new tricycle that she got for Christmas. She has not been able to ride it much due to cold weather and rain. The second one is in her new pajamas and robe checking out what Santa brought her. Christmas was so exciting this year watching her joy in opening presents and decorating the tree.
